Q: Where can we have our Portraits made?
A: Practically anywhere!
You can choose your favorite park, open space, architectural wall, building
or even your own home!
If your heart's desire is outside Colorado Springs,
we are happy to quote you a price for travel.
We also have a professional indoor portrait studio as well,
located in the SW Broadmoor area.
Q: What is the best time for day for Portraits?
A: For outside on location Portraits, we prefer morning or later afternoon light.
For inside on location Portraits, we prefer late morning through early afternoon,
when we can avoid "sunbeams" which can create spotty or contrasted light.
For inside our pro studio, any time works ..... Choose what's right for your family!
Q: What clothing should we wear?
A: The days of Matchy-Matchy are gone and almost anything goes!
That said, you will want your legacy portraits to have a timeless quality.
For that reason, we suggest you keep your clothing simple and classic.
Longer slacks and sleeves will keep the viewer's eye on the subjects face,
as will darker shoes below.
Choosing a palette with one or two colors will keep the image more relaxed as well.
Feel free to bring several options, or call us for more personalized suggestions!
Q: How about Makeup and Hair?
A: We strongly suggest that you go with a natural style that friends and family recognize,
unless your goal is a more theatrical or model style portrait.
A bit of extra mascara and lipstick always photographs well, however.
Q: Can we do some FUN poses along the way?
A: ABSOLUTELY!!!
While we will try to create some timeless composed images,
we are all for fun and games and love to get creative with your special ideas!
Q: How long will the Session last?
A: Depending on the package you booked,
the session may last anywhere from a half to two hours long.....
Keep in mind that while infants and young children may only last a short while,
older children and adults definitely benefit from some extra time in front of the camera,
becoming more relaxed, natural and playful as the session progresses.
Q: When can we see our proofs?
A: Depending on our work volume, typically the proofs will be available to view online
and/or discs to be picked up within a few days of your session.
Special services and retouch may take a bit longer.
Q: How do we order reprints?
A: If you purchased a Traditional Option,
we will book an order appointment for you at the time we contact you
with the link to your online proofs.
If you purchased the Contemporary Option,
you may use your discs to order prints online or at any consumer printer.
You may also order prints through Blue Fox at a reduced rate when you own the
Full Res images.

You prints should be ready here at the Blue Fox offices within 2-4 weeks.
Yes, we do mail if you might need that service!
